Youth Ministry Ages 13-17

The Archdiocese of San Francisco supports youth ministry programs that foster the catechesis, moral, and spiritual formation of young people ages 13-17. Guided by the USCCB’s document, “Renewing the Vision” (1997), our ministry has three goals:

1. To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today

2. To draw young people into responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community

3. To foster the personal and spiritual growth of each young person

We offer training, workshops, resources, retreats, and collaboration opportunities for Youth Ministry Leaders within the Archdiocese, as well as training, retreats, and catechetical events for youth themselves.
