Peace & Justice
In response to one of the main principles of Catholic social teaching, The Preferential Option For and With the Poor, the Justice & Peace Program of the Office of Public Policy and Social Concerns utilizes a network of individuals, organizations and resource providers to aid in educating, advocating, creating awareness and disseminating information on a wide breadth of social justice issues affecting our communities in an effort to raise the level of action and response. We seek to guide individuals by helping them understand the broader picture of causes and effects in order to work towards changing the unjust structures in our society.
