Join St. Pius Catholic Church for a Lenten Lecture Series by Father Gregory Heidenblut, OSA, D. Div., director of Education and Formation of Priests for the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

The lecture series will last 6-weeks beginning on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Lectures will continue each Tuesday, with the last lecture ending Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

The weekly schedule and topics are as follows:
Lecture 1 – Tuesday, March 11 – Jesus Christ: Only Name Under Heaven by Which Salvation is Attained.

Lecture 2 – Tuesday, March 18 – Origins of the Catholic Church: Why Jesus Christ Established the Church as His Bride Giving Her Authority and the Fullness of the Truth?

Lecture 3 – Tuesday, March 25 – Apostolic Tradition: The Triple Munera; Teaching, Sanctifying and Governing. Why is the Church Sacramental and Eucharistic?

Lecture 4 – Tuesday, April 1 – Tradition: Proclamation of the Gospel, Sacred Scripture, Worship, Magisterium, the Sacraments, and the Daily Life of the Church.

Lecture 5 – Tuesday, April 8 – The Church’s Moral and Ethical Teachings.

Lecture 6 – Tuesday, April 15 – Catholic Social Teaching and the New Evangelization.
