Fr. Peter Yorke Memorial Mass and Procession

Rev. Brendan McBride will celebrate Mass on Palm Sunday, the 97th anniversary of the death of Fr. Peter Yorke. Mass will begin at 10am in All Saints Chapel and will be followed by a procession to the gravesite for a wreath-laying and commemoration. Fr. Yorke, a native of Galway, Ireland, was the Pastor of St. Peter's Church in San Francisco and an advocate for the labor movement, Irish nationalism, and the parochial school system. The event is sponsored by the United Irish Societies of San Francisco and supported by Pearse and Connolly Fife and Drum Band.
